Promise of the Year 2023
.. "The horse is prepared against the day of battle, but safety (Victory Belongs to the Lord) is of the Lord. (Proverbs 21:31)".
The Word starts like this – “The Horse” this pinpoint to a particular horse or a special breed of horse.
Horse: -
- • About 350 variety breeds of horses are there
- • Commonly Used as a pack animal. They help in carrying heavy load.
- • Some of the benefits of horses are their mental, physical and emotional characteristics.
Horse and Human Relationship:
- • Horses are family oriented.
- • Horse can read Human emotions.
- • Horses can show emotions.
- • Horses can impact human heart.
- • Horses were originally wild animals.
- • It is domesticated about 6000 years ago.
- • First, horses were used for meat and milk, then for travel to pull heavy carts and for ploughing.
- • Horses became important in fighting battles and for riding.
It is Prepared for the Day of Battle
- • Every day is the day of battle for spiritual man
- • The Battle field is the Body, Mind or Soul and Spirit
- • The One Who prepares us for the battle is the Spirit of God.
- • The Enemy is Satan who tries to take control of the whole battle field by targeting the body of (The Temple of the Holy Ghost) Believer, Soul and Spirit of the believer.
- • The Body of the believer is also the member of Christ’s body.
- • By Participating in the Lord’s Table, we believe that we become the part or the member of the Body of Christ.
- • Our Mind and Our Spirit is renewed by the Spirit of God.
Horses in the Bible:
• Habakkuk 3:15 - Thou didst walk through the sea with thine horses, through the heap of great waters. (You “trampled on the sea with Your horses, On the surge of many waters)
This refers the Lord and his army (Israelites) going through the waters of red sea.
• Isaiah 31:1 - Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay(Rely) on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the LORD!
This is written about the Israelites looking back to the Egyptians and their horses for their help and protection.
• II Kings 2:12 - And Elisha saw it, and he cried, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and rent them in two pieces.
We need not do any fighting. Jesus said to His disciples that ,"the world would hate you because it already hated me". Whoever is enemy to God's children is also an enemy to God
• II Kings 13:14 - Now Elisha was fallen sick of his sickness whereof he died. And Joash the king of Israel came down unto him, and wept over his face, and said, O my father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof.
Here we see Elisha and Joash the king of Israel were addressing Elijah as their father, Chariot and Horsemen of Israel.
This is the confession of Elijah, but we believe and confess that our Father is our mighty warrior and the Horseman. He trains his people and uses them as Horses.
• Deuteronomy 17:16 But he shall not multiply horses to himself, nor cause the people to return to Egypt, to the end that he should multiply horses: forasmuch as the LORD hath said unto you, Ye shall henceforth return no more that way.

It was the Advice of the Lord through Prophet Samuel to the Israelites about the King they wanted. Egypt is famous for War Horses.
• Psalms 33:17 An horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength. By this we understand that its not through the strength of Horse but by power of the Lord who uses it.
• Job 39:19 Hast thou given the horse strength? hast thou clothed his neck with thunder?
• I Samuel 17:47 And all this assembly shall know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the LORD's, and he will give you into our hands.
• Psalms 32:9 Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee. The Mouth of the horse is controlled by the bit and bridle Likewise the believers mouth has to be controlled by the Power of Holy Ghost. Through the mouth of the believer comes forth the Word of God which is the sword of spirit (Double Edged).
"Victory Belongs to the Lord / Victory comes from the Lord".
• Exodus 14:14 The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
• 1 Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
• 1 Chronicles 29:11 Thine, O Lord is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the VICTORY, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and thou art exalted as head above all.
"God Gives Victory Over :".
"1. Victory over Sin".
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 1 John 3:9
"2. Victory over World ".
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. John 16:33
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. 1 John 5:4
Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? 1 John 5:5
"3. Victory over flesh ".
For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. Ephesians 5:30
"4. Victory over death and hell".
He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the Lord hath spoken it. Isaiah 25:8
So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 1 Corinthians 15:54
O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? 1 Corinthians 15:55
"5. Victory Over Devil".
And they overcame him (Devil) by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Revelation 12:11
"6. Victory Over Enemy ".
By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me. Psalms 41:11
"7. Victory For Justice".
A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory. Mathew 12:20
"8. God Gives Victory to the Kings".
It is he that giveth salvation unto kings: who delivereth David his servant from the hurtful sword. Psalms 144:10
"9. Victory through Praising God".
And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the Lord, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the Lord; for his mercy endureth for ever. 2 Chronicles 20:21
And when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten. 2 Chronicles 20:22
